Patriot Rail Corp. (“Patriot Rail”) is a leading operator of short line and regional railroads in the United States. The Company currently owns and operates 13 short line freight railroads comprising approximately 500 total rail miles in 13 states.
In June 2012, Patriot Rail was acquired by SteelRiver Infrastructure Partners (SteelRiver). SteelRiver is an independent investment management firm that invests in core infrastructure assets for the long term, seeking out businesses that provide essential services necessary for human existence with stable cash flows and regulated characteristics. SteelRiver’s long term approach to infrastructure investing is characterized by a significant emphasis on value added through a dedicated in-house asset management staff and experienced infrastructure investment professionals.

Patriot Rail’s 13 short line freight railroads include: the Tennessee Southern Railroad in Tennessee and Alabama; the Butte, Anaconda & Pacific Railway in Montana; the Utah Central Railway in Utah; the Sacramento Valley Railroad in California; the Louisiana and North West Railroad in Louisiana and Arkansas; the Temple & Central Texas Railway in Texas; the Piedmont & Northern Railway in North Carolina.
